With the Calistoga Harvest Festival, a thousand-foot dining table is placed out on Lincoln Avenue in downtown Calistoga. Here, diners can enjoy a delicious dinner from 13 local restaurants and dozens of wineries.

50th Anniversary Dinner at Burgess Cellars – October 2nd
In honor of Tom Burgess and Bill Sorenson, Burgess Cellars is celebrating 50 years of winemaking in Napa Valley with a delicious dinner. Each ticket includes a multi-course dinner, with every course being paired with unique and new wines from the Burgess lineup. After dinner, you’ll get the opportunity to browse the wine library and even take home rare wines from the collection.
Crush Party at V. Sattui Winery – October 14th
One of the most exciting parts of the harvest season in Napa Valley is the opportunity to take part in grape-crushing. V. Sattui Winery allows visitors to do just that at their annual Crush Party. They host a large open house for you to see behind the scenes of their winery. Then, take part in an old-fashioned grape stomp to help prepare grapes for winemaking.
While you’re there, enjoy some live music and delicious food from their Tuscan grill and wood-fired pizza ovens. Of course, you can’t leave the winery without trying some of their wines – there are more than 45 to choose from! This is a truly remarkable event that’s worth checking out.
Merryvale Music on the Terrace – First and Third Fridays Through October
A great way to ring in the weekend in the fall is to check out Music on the Terrace. Every first and third Friday includes live music from local bands and delicious local food trucks to check out for dinner. Plus, you can try out Merryvale wines while you’re enjoying the gorgeous outdoor terrace.
The only required purchase is wine, which should be simple enough since you’re in Napa Valley. This is a fun activity for both locals and visitors to check out local entertainment and food.
